Many people believe they do not need a Will. This is not true. In fact, a Will is a fairly inexpensive, easy way to save your estate and beneficiaries both time and money, and to ensure your wishes are followed after your death. It also specifies a guardian for any minor children. If you die without a Will, Minnesota law will dictate how your estate is distributed among your heirs. Additionally, the Court will choose a personal representative for your estate and appoint a guardian for any minor children. These decisions may not be in line with your wishes. The best way to ensure your wishes are followed after your death is with a valid Will. For help drafting a Will, contact attorney Bruce Klopfleisch today. |
